![]() ![]() Dave, the screen was working before so to test your theory, I lifted the circuit board away from the keyboard and I turned the keyboard on, but no luck. Thanks Detlef yes I checked the contrast, it was fine. This might be a shot in the dark but the PA1X casing is metal and without the rubber grommets the circuit board might be shorting somewhere. Was the screen working before you took the keyboard apart? Thanks again, John Avellaniĭid you check the contrast - maybe it´s up to fully bright. I had left them off since they were wreaking havoc when I was trying to reseat the circuit board. The only other thing I'm going to try is to preseat those black gromets that fell out when I removed the circuit board. I did notice this past winter the screen took an inordinate amount of time to brighten when it was cold, so mabye the screen itself is shot. The screen is still blank, so I'll have to try to get it to a repair center. Press and HOLD DOWN "Global" button (again) for a few seconds until the calibration screen appears ![]() Press "Global" mode button (enters Global Mode)ģ. Power on and wait for PA1XPro to start up.Ģ. This is the procedure to re-calibrate the touch screen when the screen is out of sync.ġ. I think I have to hold down a button or two and then power up in order to recalibrate the screen. I seem to remember this happening the first time I replaced the button, however I cannot remember the procedure. I put the keyboard back together and everything woks except the display. Otherwise, the keyboard has been wonderful. ![]() I just finished replacing the tap tempo button (2nd time in 3 years).
